Imran's Story
Imran Sabir has a rare genetic condition known medically as LOGIC syndrome. It is
a very rare condition only known to affect people whose origins are from the Punjab
area of the sub-continent. There are only a handful of known diagnosed cases in
the UK. So far as it is known, Imran is the eldest of these, and the most severely
affected.
Adnan's Story
Adnan Tariq has been visually impaired from birth and was diagnosed with
two ocular conditions: Degenerative Myopia and Congenital Nystagmus. He is also
partially deaf and colour blind.
Balal's Story
Balal Hussain is a young man from London and has been blind since birth but that
didn't stop him from studying Islam and memorising the Quran in South Africa.
Maha's Story
Maha was born and grew up in the Southern Lebanese city of Tyre. Aged eight
years old, she began to lose her sight after an accident using eye drops. The gradual
deterioration means she now has very little useful vision.
