Kitaba return to the forest

Kitaba in association with Green horizon and the Forestry Commission will return to the forest this Saturday for another opportunity to discover and explore the importance of our environment and our relationship to its key elements. The day will be filled with insightful and interactive activities, all through an Islamic perspective.

Shaykh Abdul Aziz will be delivering a session on the relevance of trees and the environment relating back to the Quran and Hadith, and also looking at stories and concepts relating to them. The session will be made accessible for anyone with Special Needs.

The programme will conclude with a fresh woodland walk, including ecological activities and a session on ‘survival skills’. So it is  a great chance to do some exercise, tree hugging and reflection on the wonders of Allah’s creation.
