Get Involved
We’re a volunteer run organisation and are passionate about helping Blind and visually impaired Muslims realise their educational, developmental and religious needs. All the events we’ve run, books we’ve produced and people we’ve helped is through the generosity of our volunteer network. A big thank you to each and every one of you.
We are reminded that the Prophet (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) said, according to a narration by the companion Anas: “No one among you attains true faith, until he likes for his brother what he likes for himself.” [Bukhari, Muslim]
Volunteer your time and help make a difference
Just a little time is all it takes to get involved and make a difference. We’re always looking for people who have a passion to help. Some of the areas we currently need help with include:
- Developing our online presence on facebook.
- Directly supporting local disabled or disadvantaged Muslims.
- Raising awareness locally or helping with our national awareness raising events.
- Administrative help including internal and external communication.
Of course, if you have skills not directly related to any of the above, we would certainly want to explore the possibility of incorporating them into our work.
