Our First Book Launch: 24th August 2008

With the help of Islamic Village, Knowledge and Wisdom, and The Cutting Room.org, Kitaba has produced a translation of Mulla ‘Ali al-Qari’s collection of Forty Hadith on the Excellence of the All-Clarifying Illuminating Quran entitled Fayd al-Mu’in ‘ala jam il-Arbain fi fadl al-Quran al-Mubin. This text is also being produced in Braille, large print, audio format and into a computer reader accessible text.

The book will be launched in Glasgow (Masjid Khazra, 138 Butterbiggins Road, Govanhill) on Sunday 24th August 2008 at 6.30pm at an event with Shaykh Muhammad alYaqoubi and Shaykh Abdul Aziz Ahmed.

We would like to welcome you all to this event, to help support us in whatever way you can, and to join in on the start of making Islamic texts accessible to people with visual impairment.
