The Chapter on Fasting. From Imam Al Haddad’s Nasâih al-Dîniyâh

Kitaba-Islamic Texts for the Blind is proud to present a translation of the chapter on fasting, from the book Nasâih al-Dîniyâh by Imam Al Haddad.

The Imam, who was the author of the books The Lives of Man, The Book of Assistance and Gifts for the Seeker, to name but a few, based this book on Imam Al Ghazali’s Ihya Ulum Al-Deen.  It follows the same structure as the Ihya and is written in a simple and accessible format.

This particular chapter of the book has been translated from the Arabic to English, and then converted into HTML format, to make it accessible to the visually impaired and their readers.

Shaykh Abdul Aziz Ahmed is currently teaching the book online.  To join the course, please visit the Online Halaqa.

We hope you enjoy reading the Nasâih al-Dîniyâh and take benefit from it.
May this Ramadhan be a blessed and fruitful one for us all.  Ameen!

From all at Kitaba. Ramadhan Mubarak!
